I just boiled my teeth collection.
Yeah, you've got it right.. ONE AND A HALF JAR FULL OF HUMAN TEETH.
With the entire set of equipment ready to go, i went to rinse my teeth thrice with water.
Then i placed them in a steamboat pot( those with 2 partitions which my mum found un-used at some corner)
Then, i poured dettol and some water into the pot.
TADAH....the fire starts to burn, the water starts to boil. Total time taken = 10 minutes.
After which i rinse the COOKED teeth.
TO MY HORROR, the BITS OF HUMAN FLESH remain UNCOOKED AND STUCK TO THE ROOTS.
WTH... i didn't know that thin layer of flesh takes longer than 10 minutes of boiling.
Now i have to think of new ways to get rid of it.
Imagine the amount of poisonous fumes i have to inhale in.. not forgetting that mercury is present in amalgam.
Good gracious, dettol fumes and mercury vapour?
Lucky i didn't do it in the kitchen, i did the boiling at some open area at the back yard.
Now they are out on newspapers doing their sun tanning.
Hope they dry soon, so i can pack them up and bring to school to ask Miss Han how to deal with stubborn human flesh that remains stuck on the teeth.
They are like about 2 kg?
Hai..
After that, i guess i will make use of my holidays to sort them out according to molars, incisors and what not.
Brr.. troublesome, but i like it.
Haha.. my secret fetish as a dental student.
I love my course, absolutely.
P.S: I said COURSE.
