Beauty

Somehow, listening to some songs evokes memories forgotten, memories that one doesn't want to remember, but images just starts flashing back.

Have you ever felt that way before?

It's weird how our mind is linked to our body. The senses picks up the stimulus, which is the song, and the brain starts to produce images which are bits and pieces of the past which has been hidden and purposely kept secluded in one corner of the mind.

Somehow, it generates feelings and emotions and you start feeling sensations, feeling exactly the same way you felt back then when you first heard the song.

How beautiful is that, the way our body works in synchrony, how the body is able to help you find and experience the feelings forgotten by simply picking up stimulus from a song.

How beautiful, how wonderful.

But for feelings, memories that you'll never want to experience or remember again, it's so terrible, so agonising.

What an irony, what an agony.

The power of the senses, the memories, the mind and the synchrony of everything.

How beautiful.
